Hello, my friends. I have debated this in my mind for some time, and have finally come to ask it here.
For those of you who have known me for some time, you know I find Bastok's President Karst to be a blithering idiot. I would like to see his aide Lucius take his place. What about my fellow Bastokers?
To my San d'Orian friends: who would you like to see as the next king?
And you, my Windurstian allies: who would you like to see as the next Star Sibyl, or the next leader of the Mithra?
How about a different Archduke, or Empress of Aht Urhgan?

An intriguing question, but one I'm a little uncomfortable about.
I confess I have reservations about the way Windurst is run. Philosophically I have a great distrust of prophecy as a guide to behavior, so the practice of choosing a leader based on her prophetic abilities bothers me. Still it is the system my country uses, and it hasn't to my knowledge served the people ill at any point. Anyway, since the qualifications I would look for aren't necessarily relevant, I haven't really paid much attention to the likely candidates. Also, since Star Sibyl is a position for life, unlike the Bastok presidency, I'm kind of hoping I won't find out the actual replacement soon.
For the leader of the Mithra? I have great respect for Chieftain Perih Vashai, in no small part because she chooses to lead very little. I am not in her confidence so I might mistake her, but I suspect she recognizes something more Windurstan Mithra need to. We can not be Windurstan if we hold ourselves apart and loyal first to a separate leader. For all my reservations about the Windurstan system, the next leader of the Mithra should be the Star Sibyl.

As a Bastokan Born, I'd like to see Lucius take that position too! Have I see Karst check on the condition of the Mines district? All I've seen is a group of guards check to see how mine workers are coming along with their work. Bastok needs a ruler whom caters for ALL of its denizins!
